9/7/2023 0 Comments Spyro year of the dragonflySo overall buy this over the PS2 one if graphics don't bother you and you don't want as many glitches. Soundtracks are good but again, some parts I didn't like. It's only a little less clearer, nothing beyond that I can see. Not a big deal, because the graphics still look great. Graphics had to be lowered from PS2 because the GameCube didn't have the power for better graphics. But since bugs are fixed it's now bearable. Dull, uninteresting, and very much like Year of The Dragon. Beyond that were Season of Flame and Enter the Dragonfly- and the REAL review starts here. After Year of The Dragon, Season of Ice was released. The titles that came after Spyro’s first game, Gateway to Glimmer (Better known as Ripto’s Rage) and Year of The Dragon, were huge successes. This is the only game about Spyro on the PlayStation, which did not come out in Japan. This is the last game of the series, released for the PlayStation platform, and the last game developed by the company Insomniac Games. Now! Spyro The Dragon made the beginning of his debuts in 1998. Spyro: Year Of The Dragon - the third video game series Spyro The Dragon. I am a die-hard Spyro fan (I have so many collectables it’s not funny) I am mostly into action, adventure, RPG and strategy games I finish medium difficulty games in usually a week (Then, add on collectables and bonuses, I usually complete games entirely) and I am an XBox 360 achievement LOVER… boy, can’t go past those. I will tell you what kind of gamer I am so you understand my judgment. "Pros: Great graphics for GameCube, decent to good soundtrack, lasts a while with value, a little like the classics, good gameplay, major bugs such as collision problems aren't as much here, glitches aren't as constant | Cons: Annoying dragonflies, dull storyline, sacrifices graphics from PS2 version A die-hard fan's review: "Excellent, with fixed bugs!!"
